Colin Murray "Gem" Archer ( GEHM; born 7 December 1966) is an English guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is best known as a member of the rock band Oasis, where he plays rhythm and lead guitar. He has also been a member of the Oasis-associated bands, Beady Eye and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Prior to joining Oasis, Archer fronted the alternative rock band Heavy Stereo between 1993 and 1999, releasing one studio album, Déjà Voodoo (1996), on Creation Records.
